Porto Christmas Tree will be lit for the first time on Thursday, December 1, at Aliados, in front of the City Hall building at 5 pm.

The city will also be twinkling with Christmas lights lining through the streets.

Avenida da Boavista will be sprinkling with festive spots and activities like an ice ramp, merry-go-rounds, traditional games, 5D cinema and Santa's House.

The Aliados, by tradition, one of the most crowded places during this holiday season, will undergo a festive makeover, where families can enjoy swings and paths of light, with the 30 metre-high Christmas tree as a backdrop.

This will be a spot where children wil be able to play and have a hands on approach on the arts and crafts of toys. Everyone is invited to bring their own toys.
