Green Project Awards ceremony happens on 12 January in Porto

The 10th Green Project Awards Prize ceremony will take place in Porto, at the Porto Congress Centre (Old Customs House) on 12 January, simultaneously with the V GPA'17 Conference around the theme of citizenship and the future of sustainability.

This event is jointly organised by Porto City Hall and Lipor and the main purpose is to honour national institutions that have contributed significantly to the sustainable development of the country.

The Green Project Awards (GPA), is the responsibility of the Portuguese National Agency for Environment, the GCI and Quercus ANCN, and it recognises the best practices in the field of sustainability in Portugal.

Since 2008, this initiative has received over 1200 applications and over 120 projects have been awarded, thus launching a movement towards sustainable development, mobilizing civil society and businesses alike around a common goal: sustainability.
