"Them or Us!" is a display of a collective science fiction, social and political project that draws on the impact of fear and intolerance. It opens June 2nd at Galeria Municipal do Porto, starting at 9.30 pm.

Dinosaurs, barbed wire, cosmic environments, pre-historic societies, weapons - these are some of the images and techniques that about a hundred artists, foreign and domestic, use to question society and the world that is being put together.

"Them or Us!" is literally a matter of "either them or us", be it the "invasion" by refugees, terrorists, tourists or virus and aliens. Through this exhibit artists research a scenic language intended to make audiences think the matter over.

With music by Von Calhau! and Twin Girls and Wild Boys as well as performances by António Caramelo and Hugo Almeida Pinho, jointly with António Lago and Joclécio Azevedo, "Them or Us!" is curated by Paulo Mendes.

Free entrance at Galeria Municipal (Jardins do Palácio de Cristal) until August 13th, between 10 am and 6 pm, from Tuesday to Saturday, and between 2 pm and 6 pm on Sunday.  Guided tours Saturdays at 4 pm.
