This weekend in town the weather invites to experience outings that can reset our body and mind. And what better chance to do so than with the municipal programme Days with Energy, currently extended to other locations in town? We thought so too.

So, on 25th and 26th July, free outdoor classes are held for Saturday and Sunday mornings, complying with all public health measures issued by the DGS amid the current pandemic, namely social distancing, compulsory use of face masks and hand sanitation.

Prior registration is mandatory via email desporto@agoraporto.pt. Applications must be made on a weekly basis.

The "Days with Energy" Municipal Programme is a municipal project aimed at promoting physical activity and raising awareness on the importance of staying active and living a healthy lifestyle.

Each class has the maximum number of participants of 20 people and activities are exclusively held outdoors. The Days with Energy municipal initiative offers Pilates, yoga, tai-chi and the De Rose method in four venues in the city: Gardens of Palácio de Cristal, Porto City Park, and now also at the Oriental Park and the Pasteleira Park.

Access is free. Participants should wear comfortable clothes, bring their own Pilates mats and just show up, regardless of proficiency level at each of these activities.

However, the Days with Energy activities are ill-advised for pregnant women, people aged 60 or more and people with chronic diseases.

.

It  is now held on a weekly basis; as such, every Sunday morning, moving around from 10am to 11am at Parque Oriental will bring a smile to your face and an energy reboot to your body. The meeting point is nearby the main entrance at the Pavilhão Municipal do Lagarteiro.

The physical exercise and walk are only done outdoors. Also, each session has a limited capacity of 20 people, which will then be separated into groups of 10 people.

Previous appointment is mandatory via email desporto@agoraporto.pt. Applications should be carried out on a week by week basis.
