Folk dance groups give downtown Porto a vibrant life

Keeping with tradition of the festivities of São João, Saturday, 17 June, starting at 3 pm, there is a parade of folk dance groups through the streets of Porto to honour the patron of the city.

Departing from different points of the city and with varied route schedules, nine folk dance groups will enliven the city's mains streets and squares in Porto downtown.

Everyone is invited to General Humberto Delgado Square, around 5 pm, where each group will perform a folk dance.
