Executive assesses phased resumption of paid parking, starting on 6th April

In the scope of lifting restrictions, amid Covid-19 preventive measures, under the State of Emergency, the Municipality of Porto will reassess the resumption of paid parking, starting on 6th April.

In line with the phased reopening of the economy, the also phased opening of paid parking will enable the Municipality to appropriately prepare the beginning of parking management operations. The Municipality of Porto will assess the resumption of limited duration paid parking (ZEDL), as of 6th April.

This proposition will enter the agenda of the Municipal Executive Meeting on 5th April. This means that resumption of payment includes parking from Monday to Friday, in the existing timetables, and that starting 3rd May, with the lifting of restrictions on weekends, the resumption of payments on Saturdays will also enter into force.

Parking payment was suspended as of last January.
