Excellence in innovation with Start&Scale Week in Porto

One year after the launch of ScaleUp Porto Manifesto, the city draws international visibility as a living laboratory in which the most diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem agents are integrated.

This is the second time that Porto City Hall calls for Higher Education Institutions, corporations, incubators and investors to embrace the ScaleUp Porto programme as an important commitment to consolidate the city's innovation ecosystem that can be reflected all across Europe.

This new edition of the ScaleUp Porto programme contains new and old proposals, devoted to stimulating the promotion of innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit, facilitating job creation thus placing the city of Porto as a catalyst for economic growth.

There will be conferences, workshops and masterclasses, exhibitions, business meetings, mentorship or a marathon series of technological creation. Part of the agenda includes Doing Business, Hackacity, and the Scaleup for Europe Conference.

An integrated outlook on Gender Equality will be debated on a conference at the Hard Club by the Chicas Poderosas Organization.

Porto Innovation Hub (PIH) will feature an exhibition focused on Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the city, and the Entrepreneurship Club of the University of Porto will promote the Startup Fest.

And there is more: lectures on innovation in the streets of Porto, elaborated in a creative and fun way in order to involve the city in the scale up movement.
