Actors Bruno Nogueira, Luísa Cruz, Miguel Guilherme, Nuno Lopes and Rita Cabaço disclosure how they spend their downtime between scenes or at rehearsal breaks.

This idea is the theme of a show that will be on stage at São João National Theatre - TNSJ, which will run from 7 to 11 February. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the show begins at 9 pm. On Saturday, 10 February "actors" go on stage at 7 pm and on Sunday, 11 February, the show starts at 4 pm.

Stage director Marco Martins is the mentor of this show, named "Actors", which can be described as the autobiographical account of a group of actors.

Marco Martins often observed how actors would indeed spend the in-between moments of shows, be it at lunchtime or during breaks, and how they would memorize the lines for a TV show, a soap opera, or a TV commercial as actors try to get as many other jobs in show business as possible.

This show was put together to materialise, so to speak, the curiosity and the inquisitiveness on how actors spend their time backstage.

So, "Actors" is a show where actors interpret texts and scenes they have actually performed throughout the years.
