Embrace dance at the Pasteleira neighbourhood with Cultura em Expansão this weekend

The performance “Ilhas – uma constelação”, by Sara Anjo, is the three artistic suggestion for ythis weekend, on 17 July, in the framework of the municipal programme “Cultura em Expansão”.

Dance is back to Cultura em Expansão this weekend, with the performance “Ilhas – uma constelação”, by dancer and choreographer Sara Anjo, on 17 July. The focus idea is that an island is a body surrounded by the sea, whose existence is embraced by the tides, in ongoing vibration, pulse and motion. In fact, this performance approaches the imaginary of an insular voyage and geography, which spotlights the potential of this type of fascinating crossings, utopias and obscure dystopias.

The play will go onstage at the auditorium of the Bairro Social da Pasteleira - Previdência/Torres Neighbourhood Association, at 7.30 pm, and, as usual, it is entrance free, upon previous ticket collection, starting at 5.30 pm.
