December comes with Christmas markets around town

The countdown to Christmas begins in December and, in the streets of the city, markets are already a tradition of the Holidays. From ideas for gifts, season’s typical flavours, handicrafts, the offer is wide and aimed to different public.

Tomorrow, on the 1st of December, the Christmas Market– Mercado da Alegria, in Praça da Batalha open doors. Visitors will find an offer ranging from handicrafts and gastronomy to fashion, toys and jewellery.

Not far away is another visiting option, the Christmas Market – Artes e Ofícios, located on Avenida D. Afonso Henriques, near Estação de S. Bento. It includes a wide offer, focusing on Portuguese handicrafts.
