The second session of the conference-debate cycle dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Avenue of the City takes place today at 7.00 p.m. at Café Rivoli Concert Hall.
This session will be attended by Elisabeth Essaïan, who will speak about the evolution of forms and designations of urban landscape of Moscow from the beginning of the nineteenth and mid-twentieth century - "From bulvar to magistral. Crossed history of words and forms in Russian and soviet urban design" - and Manuel Mendes, who from the topic "In the land of stone, do mash work. Let not be said utopia all that is factual reality", intends to speak of the city's landscape, combining reality, design and desire. The moderator will be Domingos Tavares.
