Co-author book of photos "Our Porto" presentation

The book of photos "Nosso Porto" (Our Porto) was presented yesterday by journalist Júlio Magalhães, at Alfandega do Porto. This is a co-author book by Rui Moreira, mayor of Porto, Mário Ferreira, manager of the Douro Azul, Armando Tavares and Manuel Varzim, both amateur photographers.

It mirrors the photographic vision of each of the authors, in a clear homage to the Invicta city. 

During the book presentation, the mayor Rui Moreira said his "enthusiasm for photography" is a family tradition. "I have thousands of photos of the city but didn't want to use the existing stock", Rui Moreira added.

Following the book presentation, an auction was held to raise funds to the Frei Gil Association, a private social solidarity institution that works with children and young people at risk.
