Classical music and jazz animate the garden of São Roque

Those who, on Sunday morning, walked by the garden of São Roque, were able to watch the first musical moment of the cycle that will take place every Sunday and Friday. The jazz concert was led by the musicians from Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo (ESMAE).

Casa São Roque, the cycle’s organisational entity, believes that “the garden’s relaxing atmosphere and the classical music’s harmony will make the event a memorable experience”.

The classical music sessions begin at 12pm on Sundays. On Fridays, jazz can be listened to in the afternoon, starting at 7pm. Tickets are free.

This first session was attended by the vice-mayor of the Porto City Hall, the president of ESMAE, Marco Conceição, and the president of Casa São Roque, Pedro Álvares Ribeiro.
