Christmas Market in Praça da Batalha until the end of the year

Preparations are almost complet, and from Saturday onwards the stands at the Christmas Market in Porto will be open to receive visitors.

The magic of the Christmas tradition is back to Praça da Batalha as of this Saturday, the 27th, with the opening of the Christmas market in Porto. There, visitors will find an offer that ranges from crafts and gastronomy to fashion, including toys and jewellery.

There are plenty of options for those looking for ideas for Christmas shopping, or simply to take a walk and enjoy the small wooden houses occupied by various producers and craftsmen.

The Porto Christmas Market, organised by Mercado da Alegria in Praça da Batalha, opens this Saturday, November 27th, and there it will remain until December 31st. It is open daily, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The invitation to visit the Porto Christmas market is extended to the city’s traditional street commerce, portrayed in a promotional video that addresses the traditions and cultural, social, and architectural heritage of Porto.
