Blip strengthens position in Porto with new facilities

The technology company Blip expanded its presence in the city of Porto. The new headquarters, opened in the parish of Bonfim and is the result of the process of exponential growth of the company that bets on Porto for its main software production centre. The company's installation process had the support of the City hall of Porto.

The six thousand square meters venue, a building of architectural reference of the city, houses 285 jobs and it was the option chosen by Blip with InvestPorto that begins to reap the fruits of its effort in attracting new business and investment in the innovation area.

Blip was founded in 2009 with only three collaborators, incubated at UPTEC - Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto and acquired in 2012 by Paddy Power Betfair (PPB), a British online gambling company listed on the London Stock Exchange, becoming one of its main development hub.
