Add wellness to your body and mind with the municipal programmes Days with Energy and Sundays in Shape

Greyer days do not mean that you can't keep your exercise routines; so, boost stamina in your bodies with the municipal programme Days with Energy (Dias com Energia) and Sundays in Shape (Domingos em Forma), which have been validated by the health authorities. 

These programmes are held every Saturday and Sunday mornings, offering participants free sessions of Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi and Walks. Except for the latter, all activities are now held indoors, in municipal pavilions to guarantee the participant's comfort.

All activities are held in compliance with the health measures issued by the DGS. Access is free, as usual, but due to the pandemic, the number of participants is limited, social distancing must be observed and registration is mandatory.

The Municipal Programme "Days with Energy" is a municipal project aimed at promoting physical activity and raising awareness on the importance of staying active and living a healthy lifestyle.

In addition to the usual sessions at the Fontes Pereira de Melo Pavilion, the programme will extend to three other pavilions within the municipal network - Lagarteiro, Nicolau Nasoni and Viso - under a partnership with the Department for Social Cohesion and the AIIA Programme (Integrated Approach towards Active Inclusion) and the "Porto com Corpo & Alma" activity. 

The activity is not recommended to people over 60 years, with chronic diseases and pregnant ladies.
