Adapted swimming competition in the Pool of Campanhã over the weekend

The 7th edition of the Adapted Swimming Tournament takes to the pool of Campanhã, in Porto, welcoming 35 men athletes and 29 women athletes, representing eight national teams. The start of the competition is set for 3. 30 pm this Saturday.

The Association of Adapted Sports of Porto participates in the event with 22 swimmers. Futebol Club de Porto is represented by 18 athletes and the Associação de Desenvolvimento Desportivo Cultural e Educativo de Gondomar joins the competition with six swimmers. Other swimmers represent the Clube Aquático Pacense, the Clube Fluvial Portuense, the Clube Natação de Rio Maior, the Feira Viva Cultura e Desporto and the Fundação Beatriz Santos.

This event marks the comeback of Adapted Swimming competitions in Porto, and although public is excluded from this events, due to the preventive health measures in place, it is possible to consult the programme of the double competition day and even the live scores at the ANNP’s website.

The event is jointly organised by of the Associação de Natação do Norte de Portugal (ANNP) and Porto City Hall.
