Free skate classes are back to the city of Porto, starting on 13 May. Access is free, as usual, but prior registration is mandatory.

Ramalde Sports Park reopens on 13 May, following the restrictions of the second lockdown that kept the equipment off limits and is ready to welcome practitioners and wannabe skaters. Classes are held on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Each class has maximum capacity of 12 skaters.

Timetables and registration methods are the same as prior to the pandemic, and the gist of the measures to comply with are as follows: compliance with 3 metres distancing among skaters and material and equipment sharing is forbidden.

It is worth recalling that last weekend, the Skate Park do Porto hosted the first stage of the debut Liga Pro Skate, an annual circuit that includes seven stages. The Porto stage was the only one in Portugal to score for the world ranking that will define the qualification to the Tokyo Olympics.

Timetables:

- Saturdays and Sundays: from 10 am to 12 noon;

- Mondays and Thursdays: from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm;

Registrations:

- each user can register to two classes per week;

- it is not possible to register in two consecutive classes (example: Saturday and Sunday; Sunday and Monday; Monday and Thursday).

- the registration must be sent to the email desporto@agoraporto.pt, stating name, age (each participant must be aged six and over) and the requested day to attend the class.

The first application period for this new stage opens at midnight on Thursday, 11 May, referring to the classes on 13, 15, 16, 17 and 20 May.
