The second IRR truck departed on Tuesday with 14 tons of goods collected as part of the “We are all Ukraine” campaign, promoted by the municipalities of Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia and Matosinhos. The operation was supported by Symington.

At the wheel of the truck this time is a Ukrainian, Lukashuk, accompanied by family members who volunteered to make the trip to help their people and take medicines, non-perishable food, clothing, and other articles.

This shipment left the headquarters of the Batalhão dos Sapadores Bombeiros (BSB) in Porto, a place that has been used for the storage and packaging of the goods collected in the city.

The “We are all Ukraine” campaign aims to respond and organize events to help the Ukrainian people. There is a website available www.somostodosucrania.pt and a helpline, with the number 222 090 420, where it is possible to check the areas in which the community can join this action, namely: collection of goods, reception of refugees, job and services exchanges.
