The Museu da Cidade gives you the big picture on punk in Porto

The Museu Gráfico Cabinet provides a big picture on punk aesthetics and the "do-it-yourself" as regards fanzines from Porto, from the 1980’s until our time. The exhibition will be on display until 15 August. Entrance is free.

"Materiais Inflamáveis: Culturas de Resistência, Médias Alternativos e Fanzines (1982-2021)". this long sentence describes the theme of the second exhibition by the Gabinete Gráfico of the Museu da Cidade, located at the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library. Curators Paula Guerra and Pedro Quintela and the museum’s Centre for Planning selected a series of fanzines (originals and replicas), music, posters, brochures and visual materials, produced by independent and artistic experimenting movements in the city. The display inaugurated today, at 3 pm. Entrance is free until 15 August.
