Exhibition | spatial circles

Pedro Léger Pereira exhibits sculpture and drawing at Clube do Desenho until February 19th.

"Once upon a time there was a circle…simple, pure, flat and two-dimensional shape. Once upon a time there was a sculptor who dreamed of “giving life” to this circle, allowing it to be different from the others (...) Dozens of drawings and hundreds of three-dimensional studies were necessary to “teach” this set of circles to behave like sculptural pieces".

Architect and sculptor, Pedro Léger Pereira has already won some first prizes and distinctions in competitions. He held some solo exhibitions in several countries and some of his Urban Art studies were implemented in public spaces.

Some of the architectural projects that he has led in recent years have also generated works built in public space.

The exhibition "spatial circles" can be visited from Monday to Friday from 2.30 pm to 7 pm and on Saturdays from 10.30 am to 6 pm.
