Cycle track between Campo Alegre and Asprela concluded on 2nd November

The bicycle path between the university poles of Campo Alegre and Asprela concluded on 2nd November, with the implementation of the cycle track between Rua de Teodoro de Sousa Maldonado and Rua do Dr. António Bernardino de Almeida. Also, on 2nd November, the Rua de Monsanto street (close by the Jardim da Arca D'Água), which is included in the cycle track, alters its traffic flow.

STCP reminds passengers that there are obstacles to the travel between municipalities

Porto is on its way to being a bike friendly city

The Municipality of Porto wants to develop another 35km of cycle routes in the city to reach 50km of bike paths by the end of 2020. Currently, the network of cycleway is circa 15km, but the goal is to extend to another 35km to meet the express aim of regaining the public space as announced by the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, in the end of May.

Electric charging stations can be set up after draw and should be operational this October

The operators for the ten electric charging stations for automobiles are in place, following the draw held among the candidates. Permits will be dispensed, alongside the respective public space license. Electric charging stations may start operating as of now, with the estimates pointing that by October all equipment is installed.
