Casa Guerra Junqueiro inaugurates exhibition by Jorge Feijão on 30th October
The exhibition "Cadernos A & B: Prelúdio e Fuga", by artist Jorge Feijão, opens at the Gabinete de Desenho of Casa Guerra Junqueiro. The event is entrance free, upon space occupancy under the preventive Covid-19 measures and in strict compliance with the health measures in place issued by the health authorities. The display can be visited until 24 January 2021.

Wild heron is returned to its habitat after a healing process
Returning wild animals into their natural habitat is a common practice in the Municipality of Porto. This past Thursday, on 1st October, a wild heron was released into its habitat, near the Observatory for Bird Watching, in the banks of the Jardim do Calém.

Sea Monsters is the theme of the exhibit jointly organized by the Interdisciplinary Center of Maritime and Environmental Investigation (CIIMAR) and the campaign Ocean Action Hub. The result is a set of sculptures and installations by Ricardo Nicolau de Almeida in the entrance hall of the Rectory building, which will be on display till 31 December.

The Treetop walk in Serralves celebrates its first anniversary! The view is still unbeatable!
The Treetop walk celebrated its first anniversary this 14th September. It all started like this: architects Carlos Castanheira and Álvaro Siza Vieira, held the promise to "bring to Serralves new and different dimensions of enjoyment with nature" and so the Treetop Walk project was set in Serralves Park and it was inaugurated one year ago. The view is still unbeatable!
"Man's best friends" can now exercise and play at Quinta do Covelo Dog Park
Quinta do Covelo already has a Dog Park and "man's best friends" can already play and exercise freely in the space. The dog park equipment has two different areas, and the works amounted to approximately 3800 sq. m. Check it out!
SEA LIFE Porto joins "TheTrashTraveler" to raise Awareness about Plastic Pollution with Art
Today is the day that SEA LIFE Porto and molecular biologist, Andreas Noe, aka "TheTrashTraveler" join together to the beach-cleaning event organised under the initiative "The Plastic Hike". Rendezvous is set at Castelo do Queijo, at 6.30pm. Volunteers to the mission, who will be wearing a vest provided by SEA LIFE Porto, will comply with all the health preventive measures in place, issued by DGS, namely keeping social distancing.
