And it will not disappoint as 25 national and foreign buskers interact with crowds downtown Porto, dancing, singing and sharing their amazing talents. These artists are from Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Poland, Puerto Rico and Peru.

The city of Porto is included in the short-list of selected architecture works in the context of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture Mies van der Rohe 2019.

MarketPlace-Casual Style, August edition, takes place in Praça da República, on 25th August, from midday till 7 pm. The gist of the event is a cosmopolitan atmosphere combined with second hand and handmade products, namely clothing, footwear, fine and costume jewellery, handicrafts, convent and traditional confectionery, gourmet cuisine, vintage and furniture articles, and many other items.

Percy Ignatius Weasley, Harry Potter's pure-blood wizard, will be in Porto to take part in the "Wizarding Workshop in Porto", which aims to promote the interaction between Harry Potter's actor, Chris Rankin, and fans.

Comedy, music, acrobatics and living statues were the perfect ingredients for a two-day escape in Porto. Porto Busker Fest enlivens the city all over August, offering about 60 shows in impromptu stages.

There's plenty to be heartened by in Porto these days. The city's urban setting is coloured with street markets all across town to enliven spirits and offer joyful moments. Some stands are already set to welcome visitors, and other stalls will feature special editions throughout the weekend. Porto's gardens and squares offer handcraft, design product, clothing items, props, vintage products and antiques.

Urban Market, a space for total relax and entertainment, as tradition in Porto, is set to kick off tomorrow with a novelty: a picnic! Join in for a joyful day!

It is worthwhile visiting one of the best kept green spaces in Porto. Take your time to stroll and admire the nature that inhabits the heart of the city. Six acres of green and peace that will be home to the City's History Museum, later this year, which will be literally built "down to the ground". The abandoned water reservoir will work as an exhibition and cultural space, and the old Tea House will also be restored!
