The 10th Edition of Porto Fashion Week kicks off 28 September with numerous events taking place in the city of Porto. Porto Fashion Week Night Out, Porto Fashion Film Festival, MODtissimo, on its 50th edition, the 10th iTechStyle Innovation Business Forum, the Fashion People competition and the 10th Port Wine Fashion make this a full week devoted to fashion businesses.

Sunday afternoon, 24 September, Porto joined other 600 cities all over the world to unite for a common and noble cause: to raise money to support prostate cancer and men's mental health. Participants have to dress up and ride a classical or vintage motorbike through town to raise awareness on important health issues.

This event was promoted by Porto City Hall, ANJE- National Association for Young Entrepreneurs and Indico Capital Partners. ANJE headquarters played host to the meeting that gathered over 100 senior investors for the corporate segment, independent venture-capital fund managers, strategic investors and company leaders.

Serralves Foundation is ready to receive the new season, by celebrating the also known as the harvest season with two full days. The autumn feast will be held this weekend (23 and 24 September) in a scenery of contemporary art and landscape so unique in this institution in the city of Porto. The entrance is free.

The Temporary Market of Bolhão is ready to house traders as the works were concluded on schedule. The new structure includes a 5,000 square meters in Shopping Centre La Vie. It provides traders the necessary standard of comfort and hygiene as well as the operational conditions to run their businesses, which the 100 year-old market cannot provide, at this point in time.

Porto will play host to the Tech Tour International Venture Club - Smart Capital, 21 and 22 September at the National Association for Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE) headquarters. This international community has turned their attention on new businesses, investment strategies and scalability capabilities with the aim of facilitating interface between entrepreneurs and investors.

All port area is open for visitors, including the Cruise Terminal, vessels, tugs and the training ship Sagres. Concerts, exhibitions and a regatta, are among the initiatives planned for 16 September to mark the Day of Port of Leixões.

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the City of Porto's Long-Term Foreign- and Local-Currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDR) at 'BB+'. The Outlooks are Positive. The Short-Term Foreign-Currency IDR has been affirmed at 'B'.

This is the first time that Porto Municipality is taking part in the Smart Cities Innovation Summit Asia 2017. The event takes place between today and Friday, 8 September, at KINTEX, the impressive International Congress Centre of South Korea, in the city of Goyang.

From Thursday to Sunday, 7, 8, 9 and 10 September, the quest to rediscover the existing bandstands in the city of Porto continues, through topic workshops inspired in the places' history and identity.
