The cultural programme "Serões da Bonjóia" (Evenings at the Bonjóia) is back after the silly season. Thursday, 7 September the "Porto à Maneira..." session will bring back poetry and music by Maria de Lourdes dos Anjos and Troupe de Palavras Vivas.

Have you ever seen the inside of a prison? "The Portuguese prison photo" is the name of a project that conveys both historic and contemporary prisons in Portugal and is on show at the Portuguese Photography Centre (CPF), located in the Old Prison and Porto Appeal Court building. Porto Book Fair features cinema, contemporary art, debates and spoken word

In just over one week, Porto Book fair will feature a vibrant, intense and international cultural programme, to be held in the refurbished gardens of Palácio de Cristal, from 1 to 17 September. This years' edition, the fair will honour Portuguese Poet Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen. The literary universe of Sophia will be revisited by means of spoken word sessions, debates and exhibitions.
