There's something about experiencing music in concert. Join Portuguese singer-songwriter Jorge Palma and his guests, Manuela Azevedo (Clã band) and Rui Reininho (GNR band), at Avenida dos Aliados, on 22 June.

Jorge Palma released the single "The Nine Billion Names of God", based on the short story with the same title by Arthur C. Clarke with lyrics in English. His first LP "Com Uma Viagem na Palma da Mão" was released in 1975, in a Progressive Rock genre such as Yes, Genesis and Gentle Giant.

Jorge Palma takes to the stage at 10pm, following the "Rusgas" traditional parade in the afternoon.

The lead singers of the bands Clã and GNR, Manuela Azevedo and Rui Reininho, respectively, will sing some of Palma's greatest hits.

The best concerts take the music and elevate it to a whole other experience -- an experience that resonates for years to come. We are sure this will be such a concert.

Access to the concert is free.
