STCP working timetable adjusts to contingency measures starting 6th April

STCP - The Society of Collective Transports of Porto announced it will adjust working timetables to contingency measures starting 6th April. 

The service provided by the bus company will run on a "Contingency timetable", with changes in bus travel frequencies and timetables in the scope of the contingency measures to fight Covid-19.

This new timetable continues to ensure mobility in the six districts where STCP operates, however maintain travel and timetable arrangements according to the lines and as much as 35% of the working days bus travels.

"Supply is around 65%," as stated by the STCP, enhancing the importance of protecting both workers and passengers.

During this period, the Museum of the Electric Tram remains closed as well as the historic trams.

The company also urges passengers to take "the strictly necessary trips".

Contingency ASTCP timetables:

- Real time information, via App Move-me AMP, QR Code on Bus stops, at the STCP site and the SMSBUS 68998 (cost: 25 cents);

- Company's website - www.stcp.pt - the "Linhas" tab, consulting by line or bust stop.

Additional prevention measures

During the mitigation phase of the new coronavirus, STCP will put in place disinfection measures to all vehicles, and several times throughout the day, to reduce potential contagion risks.

- offer reduction in 24 lines, which runs on Sunday timetable (ZR, 201, 202, 204, 206, 208, 304, 400, 401, 402, 501, 502, 503, 504, 505, 506, 507, 508, 601, 604, 805, 806, 902 and 904);

- Early Morning Routes (11 lines) and Line ZF keep regular timetable of working days;

- Lines ZM, 207, 302, 303, 603, 804 and 907 take on a special timetable during this contingency time;

- Remaining lines keep their offer under the Saturday timetable.
