Porto Design Factory is looking for new business ideas for cities

The submission of applications for the second edition of Porto Design Accelerator is running till the end of March.

This is the first Portuguese programme for the acceleration of new businesses ideas based on design.

The purpose is to find great projects in the fields of New Products for Urban Infra-structure, Furniture, Fashion, Metal, Production Technologies, Moulds, Automotive, Aerospatiale, Cork, Ceramics, Traditional Materials and New Emerging Products.

This initiative is organised by Porto Design Factory with the support of Porto City Hall.

This project is open to global startups from all around the world and it is mandatory that part of the team is present and work in Porto during the programme, although short occasional trips outside Portugal are permitted.

This programme is all about team and market opportunity and the selected projects will have the prospect of taking part in a two-stage dynamic process that correlates business ideas with design to help boost the most promising design driven startups.
