The touring exhibition "Extinction: Not the End of the World?" featured at the London Museum of Natural History will settle in Porto, at the Customs Building, from 28 May to 8 October.

This eye-opening exhibition has already fascinated a great many people of all age groups in many countries.

This display features the oldest signs of life on earth, unfolding fossils and how many species have survived "extinction", for instance. This leading-edge exhibit is as educational and inspiring as any story on our planet can be, and thought-provoking as well as it makes one wonder if humankind will be able to cope with climate change scenarios and whether conservation efforts are enough to rescue our planet.

This interactive show will let you in on how human activity is causing species to become endangered and if there is a beginning in the end. The exhibition features already extinct species such as the Dodo or the Baiji river dolphin, in China or rare animals that are teetering on the brink of extinction such as the Amur leopard or the Polar bear.

The Museum of Natural History in London has been touring groundbreaking exhibitions since 1990 and its team organises exhibits supported by experts and scientists who cooperate with the museum.
