Porto Business School has been distinguished for the sixth consecutive year as one of the world's best training schools for executives in the Financial Times (FT) Executive Education Ranking 2016. In this year's FT ranking, the University of Porto Business School rises three places in the category "Open Enrolment Programme Providers", and six places in the "Custom Programme Providers" category being the only Portuguese school to rank up in both categories compared to 2015.

The "Follow Up" category - where the monitoring and implementation of knowledge acquired on the return to the workplace is assessed - is one of the criteria in the Porto Business School to stand out again, occupying the 34th position worldwide, and rising two places compared to 2015. In "international partnerships"criterion, the Porto business school is ranked 4th best in the world business school and number 1 in Portugal.

"These results highlight what has been the position of Porto Business School - to create impact and build an unwavering international reputation" says Ramon O'Callaghan, Dean of Porto Business School.

Also according to one official, "this is, again, the recognition of the school's level of excellence: for the first time a Portuguese school is represented among the four best in the world in terms of international partnerships. The recognition of Porto Business School in this area is a consequence of the implementation of our growth strategy and internationalization, as well as our goal of creating impact and adding value in companies. A path that we have been pursuing that brings us to being today the only Portuguese school to rise in both ranking categories".
