The Porto Saudável programme was due to restart this past Sunday, 18th October, but it has been suspended for indefinite duration under the new guidelines of the Public Health authorities.

Owing to the ongoing pandemic, the Group of Health Centres of Porto Ocidental stated that the conditions to proceed with the programme Porto Saudável are not fulfilled.

This initiative, promoted by the municipal company Ágora and with technical organization by Runporto, should start the second phase of the programme on 18th October, in line with all the recommendations by the DGS, as it did on phase one, which took place between 9 August and 4 October.

The sessions are oriented by qualified trainers and follow all the preventive health measures. The main goal of such initiative is to promote an active lifestyle and wellbeing, while rediscovering iconic sites in town, within 5km walks.
Applications were done online and were free.

Due to the negative opinion of the ACeS Ocidental, the programme will be suspended till new reassessment.
