Porto PianoFest boosts cultural exchanges in Porto and in Manhattan

Porto PianoFest festival is back in Porto as of 1st August and runs till 9th August. Concerts and recitals will be held at Casa da Música, at the Rectory of the University of Porto and at the Palácio da Bolsa. Stay tunned.

For the third year running, Porto PianoFest was heard at the Yamaha Artist Services, in Manhattan, New York; this event happened on 20th February and gathered on stage Nuno Marques, Portuguese musician settled in New York, and Director of Porto PianoFest, and Mariel Mayz, North American pianist and vice-director of Porto PianoFest. 

On that occasion, the musicians also presented the fifth edition of Porto PianoFest, which will happen in the Invicta, on 1st August, at Casa da Música.

On an annual basis, Porto PianoFest offers the city of Porto a varied programme of exhibitions, such as concerts and recitals, and also sponsors young piano students with masterclasses and lectures by renowned artists.

Every year the festival is organised by Porto City Hall and by the Cadenza Cooperative.
