Porto City Race takes place on 17, 18 and 19 May and the novelty this year is that this pedestrian orienteering competition will extend to the eastern part of town.
The eighth edition of this race features a three-day racing format (on 17, 18 and 19 May) and it points to the rankings of the City Race Euro Tour. The European competition comprises nine orienteering competitions and it will run till December.
This race scores for the Portuguese Circuit of City Race and following the Invicta, the sporting competition will be held in Bruges (Belgium), Graz (Austria), Darmstadt (Germany), Zagreb (Croatia), Liverpool (England), Rome (Italy), Barcelona and Caceres (Spain).
The race will occur in the Historic Centre of Porto and in the eastern part of town, as well. People of all ages can enter the competition either individually or in group. The organisation will provide monitoring and coaching to less experienced runners.
The Portuguese tour is organised by the Sports Group Quatro Caminhos, jointly with Porto City Hall, via PortoLazer.
