Olafur Eliasson's Serralves exhibition book is an AIGA winner

The exhibition book of Olafur Eliasson exhibit "O V/Nosso Futuro É Agora" ["Y/our Future is Now"], published by the Serralves Foundation, in 2019, is included in the 50 Books I 50 Covers AIGA winners' list.

The prize was the recognition of an excellence in drawing by the American Professional Association for Design, the "50 Books I 50 Covers". The book cover has graphic design by Márcia Novais, it was developed in close connection with Studio Olafur Eliasson, and it includes an original text by Gonçalo M. Tavares, as well as an essay of the artist himself, in line with his work on display in Serralves.

Book designers and publishers submitted circa 800 book and cover designs from 32 countries and this year's jury recognized submissions that "successfully demonstrate design excellence in the book and cover categories", as stated in AIGA's website.

The 2019 winning selections will be included in AIGA's Design Archives, a historic collection of the best ever in graphic design.
