The gardens of Palácio de Cristal are open as 1st June. This won't feel like a picnic in the park, as yet; however, even if people have to comply with certain rules amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it will surely uplift the soul and the senses, for that matter.

Visiting the green atmosphere and the beautiful linden avenue or even Émile David gardens, embellished by Mathurin Moreau's Fonts d'art, which is the French expression for art pieces in cast iron, is a luxury that was not at hand these past weeks.

Palácio de Cristal, namely the Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa was also the setting for the Field Hospital Porto., not so long ago, which was established by Porto City Hall to help fight the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

The Field hospital (or Mission Hospital as Mayor Rui Moreira once referred to it) was closed and remains in standby, should the need arise.

In addition, the Municipal Library Almeida Garrett, opens on 1st June and on 2nd June, it's time for the Porto Municipal Gallery to resume activity, always following the necessary preventive measures to fight Covid-19.

It should be reminded that all municipal gardens and parks were closed due to the ongoing pandemic, in mid-March, except for the City Park and Porto Oriental Park.
