Kaggle Days Meetup heads to Porto in September and registrations are already open

Talkdesk and Data Science Portugal (an informal association of people and companies connected to Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence) teamed up to organize the first edition of Kaggle Days Meetup Portugal, a global series of offline events for the Data Science enthusiasts. Registrations are open till 1st September.

This event was already held in 18 cities and gathered over 1800 participants. It will be held in Portugal, in the city of Porto, with the aim of solving a challenge presented by Talkdesk.

All participants are invited to create predictive models from real data, provided by the software company. The final goal is to find the best solutions.

Registrations are ongoing till 1st September and the Kaggle Days Meetup kicks off on 10 September, at the Talkdesk offices in Porto.

The deadline for participants to come up with a practical solution is three weeks and the final presentations are scheduled for October 1st.

The first prize are ARM development kits, the second prize are Amazon Echo devices, and the third prize are Amazon Web Services credits for the sum of one thousand euros. Each member of the winning teams will be entitled to an award.

This event also comprises a talk with the Spanish Jose Antonio Guerrero, Kaggle Grandmaster, who will lecture on how to succeed in the Kaggle universe.

The Kaggle Days Meetups began in 2018 and are the result of a partnership between Kaggle, an online Data Science and Machine Learning challenge platform and LogicAI, a Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence software development company.
