IndieJunior Allianz Film Festival warm-up at the Rectory of the UP on 18th January: the magic starts to unveil!

Children and Youth film festival bring the best cinema to the Rectory on 18th January. The fourth edition of IndieJunior Allianz Film Festival runs in Porto from 28 January to 2 February, where different venues host numerous film screenings.

This year's theme is "A Viagem" ["The Voyage", free translation], the discovery of new worlds and everyday places that will lead cinema goers through a journey in and out cinema walls.

The warm-up sessions happen on 18th January, at the Rectory of the UP, where the best of children and youth feature and short films will be on screen, starting at 4pm.

The film lineup goes like this:

"Billie", by Maki Yoshikura (UK, 2018, 4'); followed by "Link", by Robert Löbel, (Germany, 2018, 8'); next is "Land without Evil", by Katalin Egely (Hungary, 2017, 4'); and then there is the short "KUAP", by Nils Hedinger (Switzerland, 2018, 8'); the short film "Popcorn", by Sergi Vizcaíno, (Spain, 2018, 10') is also part of this warm-up session, which brings along several other shorts such as "Assombriação", by several Portuguese artists, (2018, 2');

From France, there is "Il s'est passé quelque chose, by Anne Larricq (2018, 8'); next in line is "Pearfall", by Leonid Schmelkov (Russia, 2017, 3'); and also "Miles Away", by Cynthia Calvi (Switzerland, 2018, 4');

Entrance is free, but subject to room capacity.
