"Folle Époque": the crazy twenties are back to the Theatre Carlos Alberto

The Theatre Carlos Alberto premières "

Folle Époque", on 22nd October, at 9pm, a performance by the Collective SillySeason. The show will be on stage until 25th October and it offers "a parallel between present time and an era of prosperity and bankruptcy".

"It has been one hundred years since the roaring Twenties. How will these new twenties go down in History?"; this is the question to be answered at this show, in a "journey back and forth between the past and an uncertain present", the promoters state.

Cátia Tomé, Ivo Saraiva and Silva e Ricardo Teixeira are in charge of staging and directing the "Folle Époque"; also, they will enliven the performance together with Rodolfo Major, Sara Ribeiro and Teresa Coutinho.

The show is a joint production by the SillySeason, the National Theatre São João (TNSJ) and the Centro Cultural de Belém.

Performances take to the stage on Thursday and Friday, at 9pm, and on Saturday at 7pm. Sunday, the show is scheduled to 4pm.
