The debut of North Music Festival marks the beginning of the festival season in Porto, with the festival's third edition set for 24 and 25 May, at the Customs Building in Porto.

The North Music Festival 2019 poster pulls unparalleled line-ups such as Capitão Fausto, Franz Ferdinand and Bastille. The programme aims to suit all tastes and age groups.

North Music presents itself as an urban event, mainstream and covering several genres.

In addition to concerts, there will be dining experiences, wine tastings, film screenings and documentaries, as well as a dance and world music area, and the presence of several DJ's.

Festival goers will have the opportunity to see the band "The Prodigy" honoured by the North Music Festival, whose vocalist, Keith Flint, took his own life last March at the age of 49.

"Each band was challenged to perform one iconic song of the band, which was an iconic band for several generations", affirmed the festival's director, Jorge Velos to Lusa Agency.

The Prodigy performed last year in the North Music Festival, and it was their last performance in national territory.

There will be concerts in three different stages and tickets cost 35€ (1day) and 49€ (2days).
