"Economy in the city of Porto" last webinar features Mayor of Porto Rui Moreira

The five webinars' cycle on the theme "Economy in the city of Porto" takes place on 29th May with the special participation of Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira. The session starts at 10am and the main topic is what new challenges face the local economy, as it has to reinvent itself during and after the pandemic.

The last webinar on the city's economy is aimed at summarising all the topics discussed during this five session cycle. The second to last webinar takes place today and will debate the future reality of businesses, at 6.30pm, namely highlighting challenges and opportunities common to all industry sectors so that local economy can be reinvented.

Deloitte leading consultant, Sérgio Lee will start the debate, by enhancing the global challenges towards recovery.

Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, will participate in the panel: "Porto as the starting point of national recovery" to share ideas on how to jumpstart the economy.

The panel also includes João Lima Pinto, CEO of a credit software company and AEP -Portugal Business Association's president, Luís Miguel Ribeiro.

Expert Miguel Eiras Antunes, Public Sector leader Portugal & Global Cities leader will deliver his approach on the Critical factors to success and recovery.
