Cycle Mark O'Rowe by the National Theatre São João

Starting tomorrow, on 21st November and running till 4th December, the TNSJ devotes a programme cycle to the work by Irish playwright and screen writer Mark O'Rowe, jointly with the Company Assédio.

The kick off was on 18th November, at the São Bento da Vitória Monastery (MSBV), with a reading of excerpts of Terminus (2007) and Ossaries (2003) and the launch of the 31st volume of the TNSJ Collection, which includes three plays by O'Rowe. Two of which will be staged at Carlos Alberto Theatre, the "Our Few and Evil Days" (2014), produced by João Cardoso, between 21 and 30 November. The second play to go on stage is "Made in China", staged by Pedro Frias, on 25 and 26 November at MSBV.

The programme concludes with the play "Sarna", based on the play's original English title Howie the Rookie (1999), to be presented at MSBV, by João Cardoso, from 2nd to 4th December.
