A disguise workshop, outdoor activities, visual arts and laboratory work are the main attractions of a three-day event especially organised for children, by the Universidade Junior, in partnership with the Museum of Natural History and Science of the University of Porto (MHNC-UP).

The highlight of the programme is the disguise and mask workshop, devoted to the "Wizard of Oz", under the Carnival celebrations to be held at the Botanical Garden of Porto, on 4, 5 and 6 March.

Children, between six and 12 years, will be able to celebrate Carnival in a different way, surrounded "by trees and plants", each one different and with their own characteristics, as if they were disguised.

The disguise and Mask workshop is set for 4 and 5 March and the goal is to "build masks to cheer this delightful story with choreographies and sounds, to help Dorothy get out of Oz and return home", as stated by the organisation.

This three-day event also offers natural arts and arts activities. These require pervious registration.
