Best Of Wine Tourism 2020 Awards Open Call

The Great Wine Capitals Global Network has launched the 2020 edition of the Best Of Wine Tourism awards. The deadline for the submission of applications is 15 May 2019.

Great Wine Capitals Global Network, of which Porto is a member, also comprises the cities/regions of Adelaide (South Australia), Bilbao (Rioja), Bordeaux, Lausanne, Mainz (Rheinhessen), Mendoza, Porto, San Francisco (Napa Valley), Valparaíso (Casablanca Valley), and Verona.

This competition is aimed at wineries and tour operators of the Douro, Porto and Vinhos Verdes region, which have a relevant role regarding the development of wine tourism in this region and who excel in diverse sectors, such as accommodation, wine Tourism Restaurants, architecture and landscape, art and culture, innovative Wine Tourism Experience, wine Tourism Services, and sustainable Wine Tourism Practices.

The Best Of Wine Tourism 2019 Awards The House of Sandeman Hostel & Suites has unanimously won the global prize for the Accommodation category.
